Kimberly Wall, MA, PLPC

Welcome! Perhaps you're here because you feel overwhelmed or consumed by your strong emotions; your own voice gets lost in the chaos. Perhaps you find yourself doing all of the work in your relationships while sacrificing so much for others and still feeling alone. Perhaps you prioritize the needs of others, to your own detriment, while compromising on boundaries in an effort to seek acceptance. You know you want authentic connection, but anxiety and depression cripple your ability to build the life you want. Your needs matter, and I would be honored to hold space for the parts of you that long to be heard.

I'm passionate about guiding women through their journeys of healing from attachment, childhood, relational, and sexual traumas, empowering them to live lives that resonate with their deepest truths. I believe that every woman has the power to rediscover herself, to voice her needs, heal from traumatic experiences, and to craft her life's narrative with confidence.

In parallel to supporting women, I also support adolescents in self-exploration, managing anxiety, enhancing executive functioning to improve conscious decision making, processing emotions, identifying needs, and fostering a deeper self-awareness, sense of self, and self-esteem.

Whether you are 15 or 45, I can help you discover the source of your emotional struggles, all while healing from painful wounds, so you can experience calmness, connection, and confidence. I love working with clients who are ready to explore new emotional scenery and who wish to gain clarity from the chaos of their emotional world.

Clinical Areas of Interest

My clients struggle with a wide range of mental health concerns - we may be a good fit if you have found that:

  • experiences from your past make it difficult for you to form secure connections in your relationships or impacts your ability to function in your day to day life

  • you are experiencing relationship issues like unfulfillment, obstacles in communication, disconnection, and emotional reactions

  • anxiety, burnout, and emotional overwhelm are impacting your quality of life and daily functioning

  • life transitions and decision making have you feeling anxious, confused, or afraid

  • you feel like you’ve lost a part of yourself and struggle to identify or express your needs

  • you struggle with executive functioning and want to organize your life and relationships to align with your unique needs and strengths

  • you want to understand why you react in certain ways and how to feel in control of your life again

  • you want to reconnect with your inner child and find your voice again through self-exploration

  • you are a mental health professional needing support

As a therapist, I am person-centered and trauma-focused.  I approach my clients with warmth, gentleness, and an open heart for their experiences.  I know that healing is holistic and respect the dignity and unique needs of each individual.  My office is warm and inviting, and my hope is that you will feel comfortable and at home.

I specialize in working with women, and some adolescents based upon service need.

Professional Experiences

For a therapist, the learning process doesn’t end at graduation. I am always striving to stay up to date with the latest research and learn new clinical practices. I have sought specialized training in various areas:

  • Internal Family Systems/Parts Work

  • Complex PTSD & Attachment Theory

  • EMDR Therapy

  • Trauma-Focused CBT

  • Sandtray Therapy

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Lindenwood University in 2022 and am a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri under the supervision of Anna Kisting (License #2017028861). Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, families, and adults. I use my knowledge and experience from those roles every day as a clinician in private practice.

I embody a warm and gentle approach with my clients, offering empathy and curiosity. So much of our hurt happens within relationships, and in turn, so does much of our healing. You deserve peace, and I would love to empower you to cultivate it. Consider this the first step to a grand new adventure towards hope and healing!
